Security is good, as Google frequently updates Chrome and quickly patches security holes as soon as they’re discovered. Google does, however, offer a way to clear user data. Although Google claims that it doesn’t sell that said information, it readily admits that it uses it to personalize and optimize ads. It collects data and stores all sorts of information about its users. ![]() This does hand significant amounts of information to Google, though. Just sign in with your Google account, and Chrome handles the rest. The cross-device synchronization is excellent and easy to set up. Thousands upon thousands of applications are available for download, covering every use case, from note-taking and virus protection to ad blocking and security extensions.
